When I think of places like Norway, Sweden, and Denmark (collectively known as Scandinavia, which sometimes includes Finland and Iceland), I think of this time of year. Being so far up north on the European continent, these countries epitomize a beautifully snowy holiday – and the clothes to match! But Scandinavian wardrobes this time of year are more than just the knit sweaters with winter symbols that we love to wear come Christmas. There’s a sophistication and modernity that is light years ahead of the fashion that we see everywhere else in the world.
