Event: What to Wear to a Rodeo
by Renae Virata | The more diverse rodeos become, the more diverse the fashion! Long gone (but still classic!) are the days of only plaid shirts, denim, and cowboy boots. We spotted a bunch of stylish urban cowgirls at the BBQ Cook-off at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo who made the Rodeo their own fashion runway. Check it out! Read the rest of this entry »

Road Trip! What to wear on the San Juan Skyway (Colorado)
by Renae Virata | This scenic route varies in elevation amongst the mountains which means it could get c-c-c-cold! Temperatures can dip into the upper 40s at night, so make sure you bring a medium-weight scarf and a medium-weight jacket (like leather, for example) with you to cover up. Mid-calf boots will work fabulously even as temperatures rise into the mid-80s. We love the idea of a prairie dress to make your way through the little towns or skinny jeans with a long tunic sweater and vest.
Road Trip! What to wear on the Dine’ Tah Scenic Road (Arizona)
by Renae Virata | The weather is typical of the desert, making a visit to this scenic route an exciting summer adventure. Temps during the day reach well into the 90s (F) while nighttime temps can go as low as the mid-50s. Smart packing requires thin layers and a medium-weight jacket for night.
Arizona in general has a more casual vibe to its general style, so no need to go overboard! Cowboy boots are a staple wherever you go and no matter the temp while a light leather or denim jacket will keep you covered when the thermometer goes down.
