Miles of ocean?  I do, too, which is why a trip down the Florida Keys Overseas Highway is the ultimate summer road trip by the water. For your trip wardrobe, we see bright colors, light fabrics, open-weave cover-ups – anything that will get you ready for a beach stop or a fun water adventure.  But pack an umbrella and waterproof flats. The temperatures will peak wonderfully in the high 80s during the summer, but summer is also the rainiest time of the year in the Keys, with 4 inches on average of rainfall monthly.

Travel Diary: Keratin smoothing treatment

Island life is the very definition of the Bahamas.  The people are friendly, the weather is perfect, and you can pretty much find a party most days of the week.  Which is why it was so hard to leave the beautiful, glassy waters of this Caribbean utopia just a short 30-minute flight from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.

This travelista was leaving for a trip to Miami when we spotted her in the Freeport, Bahamas, airport.  I couldn’t help noticing how more formally dressed she was compared to all the other airport goers clad in borderline beachwear (me: guilty!). And love her neutral but bright light gray polish.
