Poor old dress...hadn't seen the light of day in ages. Until yesterday!

No more staring at my closet with “nothing to wear”! I just wore this summer semi-formal to a boho-chic bar on a VERY chilly and VERY windy night with some great success.  See how I breathed new three-season, three-occasion life into this old-wedding-dress oldie but goodie!

See how I turned this summer strapless into two different cool-weather outfits!

American Apparel has done it again!  The purveyor of multi-use style has a fabulous cotton/spandex skirt that can bring tons of mileage to any trip or everyday wardrobe.  I was lucky to be able to snag one from American Apparel to try out.  At just $36 and in 20 delicious colors, it is probably one of the best additions to your wardrobe this season.

What do you do when you’re on vacation and having a questionable (or lazy) hair day?  You improvise.  That’s what my gorgeous travel buddy Eva did when we went to the Bahamas.  What I was using as a simple hair accessory to keep my hair out of my face when I worked out she was using as a chic hippie hair band.  Genius!  Check it out below.
