Bohemians go to the beach for the summer and the preppies go sailing! Sailing is a traditional summer luxury along the East Coast. Many Eastern seaboard summer vacation spots were formerly ports for British ships and from a history of Naval seafaring places like Cape Cod are now full of yachts and sailboats. If you happen to be invited to the Hamptons, the Cape, or St. Michael’s for the weekend don’t forget your boat shoes or sailing stripes!
