The myth about platform wedges

As I was entering the delectable array of spring footwear (they are truly like confections for the feet – check ‘em out!) into the WeareverTheWeather.com My Stylist app, I came across a dangerous looking pair of platform wedges.  Dangerous looking because they are incredibly awesome (can’t decide whether to get them in green or pink) and dangerous looking because they would basically make my 5’3″ height rival that of the average American male.  But, to be honest, some of my most comfortable shoes are platform wedges! Once upon a time, wearing white/beige after Labor Day was completely unheard of. The brave souls that attempted to wear white pumps (GASP!) or beige slacks were whispered about as soon as they set their cocktails down and left the room or were kindly handed the September issue of Vogue by friends.
