It seems like summer hardly arrives in nor leaves LA, but the fashion gods dictate that fall fashion must make its appearance despite the weather. Light dresses and rompers (now here to stay?) get new life in the fall with some smart layering under a boyfriend blazer.
Light fabrics like rayon and silk look fresh for fall with a blazer, sleeves rolled up and slightly oversized. Add booties and a light scarf, and you’ve got a look that can go from lunch to cocktails without a hitch!

It’s also a supersmart look for travel! Simple pieces that can be worn throughout your trip (try the blazer during the day with jeans or at night over shorts or a dress). The booties will go with most any silhouette and, since they will likely be your heaviest shoes, it’s best to wear them on the plan rather than have them take up space and weight in your suitcase.
Light accessories add a touch of sophistication without overdoing it. Try a simple pendant necklace and earrings, studs and a simple chain, and a ton of bangles (always a fun look).
