Let’s face it: It is just too darn hot to wear jeans in August! When it comes to casual summer pants, you don’t have to stick to just jeans and capris. Here are some fun ideas. Bonus: They transition great into the fall!
- Think color. You’d be surprised at the number of fun “neutrals” that are out there that would work with almost anything in your closet. Ever thought of owning a pair of yellow, mauve, or blue pants? Now’s the time to try!
- Fabric is key! Linen blends are great and less wrinkly, for example, and carry color well. Light jerseys in more structured shapes give you the ease of the fabric with a more polished shape.
- Different silhouettes can keep your wardrobe fresh. Think gauchos, think harems, think pencil.
